The espresso cup and matching saucer are part of the popular bau.ART collection and pay homage to the world-famous architect Otto Wagner, who, in addition to numerous well-known buildings, also gave the Vienna City Railway of that era its unique appearance. The characteristic green paneling and the checkerboard pattern of the floor tiles can still be admired today at many stations along the U4 and U6 lines.
