Declaration on accessibility 


WIENER LINIEN GmbH & Co KG endeavors to make its websites accessible in accordance with the Vienna Anti-Discrimination Act, LGBl. 35/2004 as amended, implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies (OJ L 327, 2.12.2016, p. 1). 
 
This accessibility statement applies to the website shop.wienerlinien.at 

Status of conformity with the requirements 

This website is partially compliant with conformance level AA of the "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Web - WCAG 2.1" according to the applicable harmonized European standard "European Standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (20121-03)" due to the incompatibilities and/or exceptions listed below. 

Non-accessible content 

The website of WIENER LINIEN GmbH & Co KG contains older applications and applications, some of which are not or not yet fully accessible. However, WIENER LINIEN GmbH & Co KG endeavors to make the information as accessible as possible. New applications or extensions will be implemented in an accessible manner. Older applications will be revised. 

Incompatibility with the Web Accessibility Act (WZG) for the implementation of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 

The contents listed below are not barrier-free for the reasons stated: 1. enlarging the content to 200% is only possible to a limited extent. Some content is cut off. 
2. certain content windows do not receive focus in the mobile version under Android/Talkback 
3. the shopping cart cannot be opened in the mobile version under Android/Talkback 
4. certain content windows cannot be closed correctly in the mobile version 
5. the language selection switch cannot be switched when using the keyboard. 
6. some graphics of functional elements use an alternative text that is not meaningful 
7. the contrast of the text is too low for some status messages 
8. for some product images in the shopping cart, no focus frame is visible when using the keyboard 
9. for some links in the product descriptions, no focus frame is visible when using the keyboard 
10. when using the keyboard, the shopping cart opens automatically when the focus is received. Moving the focus to the previous element does not close the shopping cart window. 
11. in the mobile version, the shopping cart window cannot be closed under Android/Talkback 
12. no focus frame is visible in the shopping cart for the product images with keyboard control 
13. entries for the screen reader are incorrectly labeled in the mobile menu

Enforcement procedure 
If you do not receive a satisfactory response from the above contact option, you can submit a complaint to the Anti-Discrimination Office. The Anti-Discrimination Office accepts complaints electronically via the contact form. 

 
These complaints are examined by the Anti-Discrimination Office to determine whether they relate to violations of the provisions of the Vienna Anti-Discrimination Act, in particular deficiencies in compliance with the accessibility requirements, by the state or the municipality of Vienna or an institution attributable to the state or the municipality of Vienna. 

In the case of justified complaints, the Office for Combating Discrimination must make recommendations for action to the relevant department of the City of Vienna or the legal entities concerned and propose measures to remedy the deficiencies in question. 


If you yourself are affected by suspected discrimination with regard to lack of accessibility, the Office for Combating Discrimination will support you by providing information and advice on the possibilities of legal action.
