bau.ART hammam towel

This eye-catching hammam towel is a homage to the Austrian architect Otto Wagner, who, in addition to numerous well-known buildings in Vienna, also gave underground stations a unique look. The artistic chessboard pattern of the floor tiles stations along the U4 and U6 and are an incomparable eye-catcher on this high-quality cloth.
What is a hammam towel actually?
The hammam towel has its origins in the Turkish steam bath (the hammam), where visitors are wrapped in lightweight towels made of flat cotton fabric to be absorbent on the one hand and dry quickly on the other. Thanks to these properties, the hammam towels are not only used in the steam bath, but are also popular as a towel, blanket or scarf.
What makes our towel so special?
In this country, the light hammam towels have long since conquered the sauna, bathroom, beach, garden or living room. Space-saving, absorbent and quick-drying, they are also the ideal companion on any excursion or journey. Our Hamam bath towel comes from the Framsohn weaving mill.
